Andy plays SO beautifully. He's a hugely talented keyboardist! Corinne is lovely. She sings like an angel! What a voice! Not overpowering, but sweet, calming... She hits her notes so confidently! A nice treat to hear her speak as well! These two are a match made in heaven! That audience must've been in a state of euphoria!
My top artists of all time for a reason. I love that in fact Corinne's vocals are raw and off the cuff, and not absolutely flawless - read "not over-rehearsed". The phrasing is natural, part of its beauty is just that - but never a flat note and these weren't easy songs to perform live. Andy as always, the consummate professional on the keyboards. This always puts me in a good mood every time I watch it, thank you for putting this up!
This version really showcases the core of SOS. Andy's keyboards and Corinne's vocals are the heart & soul of the SOS sound. She could sing the phonebook and Andy could arrange "chopsticks" and it'd be a classic..what talent.
Real talent - a live mike and a solo synthesizer in a small room performance, and the songs sound as good or better than what has to be processed and enhanced with post-production "magic" to be passable these days with today's crop of so-called singers....
You should really post this with the song titles in English so others can more readily find these rare live acoustic gems. BTW, I know over the years Corinne's hair has gone from short bob to long to short again, but personally I think this mid-length cut is her best look. It has a real, urban hip sophisticate look to it. Then again, maybe it being paired with that long black leather cinched trench coat is what makes the look...
